Pr. Brad Fuerst is a farm boy from Nebraska, a St. Olaf College and Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary alum, a Methodist pastor's spouse, and a father of three phenomenal little "Luthodists": Holden (12), Hadley (9) and Harper Lee (7).
7.5 years of ministry among us have proven effective in fostering his affinity for Longhorn Nation, though he remains - oddly - a Husker fan as well.
Before serving the 40 Acres, he served 9 years as the Lutheran campus pastor to Rice University and the University of Houston with Christ the King Lutheran Church as a hosting congregation. Before that, he taught high school English at Omaha North High School for nine years.
Pr. Fuerst enjoys cycling, running, cooking, reading the New York Times, geeking out over liturgy, and baking bread. Hang out around LuMin long enough, and he'll make sure you receive a loaf of his fresh baked sourdough bread!
