Who are we?

OUR HISTORY

Lutheran campus ministry has been serving the 40 Acres for over 75 years. Our "outpost for ministry" at 2100 San Antonio has gone through changes over the years, but one thing has not changed: this ministry's commitment to creating a safe space where students can feel at home, loved, and encouraged as they engage big questions, explore their faith, and discern who God is calling then to be in the world.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to radiate God's love and grace through embracing all, serving boldly and working for peace and justice.

OUR LEADERSHIP FORMATION

LuMIn-Austin's student-led ministry is all about serving.  Both among and beyond our community, our student leaders are formed to focus their leadership on honing the following servant leadership skills:

The Katarina von Bora Award for Servant Leadership was established

by the LuMin community this past year  to celebrate the servant leadership provided by our UT 2018 graduates.

Each year, this award will honor the student(s) who embody - as Katarina von Bora did - what it means to serve all people following the example of Jesus.
